Established in 1997, Elcolab worked at first in the field of diagnostics and Electromagnetic Compatibility tests aimed to CE marking of electric, electronic and electromechanical products.

At present, through its laboratories, Elcolab works in different technological fields concerning those measurement and test of electric, mechanical and ambient  parameters necessary to obtain the certification of products, the validation of components and materials and the check of  the environmental electromagnetic fields, according to the main international standards.

Located near Macerata, in the heart of the Marches, Elcolab’s laboratories are nowadays a reference point in the manufacturing world of Central Italy and offer specialised services with hi-tech contents to companies, public bodies and private users.

Thanks to the acknowledgement the labs got from important International Certification Bodies, companies can perform all certification activities at Elcolab. In 2009 Elcolab became part of the IMQ Group, the greatest Italian set-up in the field of International Certification of products with over 50 years of experience.

This important goal increases and boosts the services Elcolab can supply, and makes it the first operating stronghold of an International Certification Body in Central and South Italy.
