2009/125/EC Directive (ErP - Energy-related Products)

The European Directive 2009/125/EC - ErP, a recasting of the previous 2005/32/EC, establishes a framework for the setting of Community ecodesign requirements for energy- related products with the aim of ensuring the free movement of such products.

In compliance with the 2009/125/EC Directive terms, implementing measures are stated in proper European Community Regulations which are specific for any equipment type.

Before a product covered by implementing measures is placed on the market and/or put into service, a CE marking shall be affixed and an EC declaration of conformity issued whereby the manufacturer or its authorised representative ensures and declares that the product complies with all relevant provisions of the applicable implementing measure.

Our labs perform measurements and tests suited to demonstrate compliance to the main implementing measures related with the ErP Directive.
